An autistic stuntman has dazzled onlookers with his latest daredevil act: eating two foods at the same time.
Robert Noot, 24, a professional stuntman who performs under the name Ootvel Knootvel, displayed this feat to a packed crowd of 1,200 autistic guests and confused neurotypical plus-ones at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre.
Audience member, Noah Michaels, 20, said: “Man, it was intense. He didn’t even flinch! He held up a spoonful of mashed potato and everything was fine, but then he stuck it into a bowl of peas! Peas! When he put that dangerous spoon of white paste and green round into his mouth, everyone went quiet. You could have heard a pin drop. After a nail-biting 30 seconds, he finally swallowed and the whole room lost their minds!”
Other onlookers, however, were not so impressed. Mary Walker, 24, an attendee’s neurotypical date, commented: “I’m not entirely sure what just happened, there. It feels an awful lot like I’ve just paid thirty quid to watch a man in a sequined tracksuit eat part of a roast dinner while everyone screamed. Three people fainted!”
After the performance was over, Noot stunned the public by announcing his next feat of derring-do: actively taking part in small talk in a busy pub with both his sleeves rolled down.
