An autistic woman who stated that she’s “Fine, honestly, fine. Fine! Why does everyone keep asking?!” has been unintentionally revealing her spiralling mood through her art, concerned bystanders have reported.
Krista Shure, 23, who thinks she’s taken up a sweet, creative hobby crocheting teeny tiny anthropomorphised animals with adorable little faces, has yet to notice that she ran out of Citalopram two weeks ago and is reportedly beginning to worry her friends.
Shure explained: “Look! Here’s Geoffrey the Giraffe: he has a silly drooping neck because he’s wilting under the pressures of life. This is Felicity the Flamingo! She looks fine but is being slowly crushed by an external sense of perfection which she will never attain. And this elephant has Crohn’s.”
Her animal collection, which includes Disgruntled the Pig, the Unhap-Pygmy Goat, and What’s the Worst That Could Hap-Penguin, is the second of her themed group creations.
“I also have a fruit and vegetable selection,” she gushed. “We’ve got Depressi-Onion who’s crying while being sliced, Despair the Pear who is perpetually alone, and Deject-Edamame beans who are screaming in terror trying to avoid a gigantic fork. Look at their cute little eyes!”
“I’ve arranged the animals into a little tableau, look, so they’re all huddling together against the cruel indifference of the world. Don’t cry, little Misera-Bull, you’ll never be alone!”
Top comments on her new Instagram crochet account mostly read, “Are you okay, mate?”
