An autistic woman is reportedly very fashionable, at least she would be if this were witch-trial-era Massachusetts, according to sources.

Pippa Durham, 39, feels most at home in a long skirt and smart blouse with a big collar, which she thought was a nice moody take on officewear but has instead led to countless questions from strangers about who she’s playing in The Crucible.

“I thought it was vintage,” she said, weaving a basket. “And it is, but it seems I’ve overshot trendy vintage and landed in re-enactment vintage, which you won’t be surprised to learn is very poorly catered-for on Depop.”

“I don’t care about following the latest fashions, but it would just be nice if the vet stopped referring to my cat as ‘Graymalkin, your fell familiar’. Her name’s Dorito.”

“Until everyone gets a grip, I will not be attending any social engagements involving a bonfire.”
