An autistic lesbian has finally summoned the courage to momentarily lock eyes with another woman, it has been rumoured.

Emma Bernard, 31, from St Helens, decided she was ready to “make a move” on Natasha Weaving, 39, who she had been admiring from a distance for some months – by glancing at Weaving’s irises for approximately 1.8 seconds before spinning her head like a barn owl.

Bernard commented: “In the end, I just bit the bullet and looked. Admittedly, it was really bold of me to invade her gaze like that. Accidentally catching the eye of the security guard when leaving Lidl makes suspect there’s something going on between us, so when I’m actually feeling things? Fuck.”

“It’s often been said that I need to be more direct,” Bernard continued. “So I took that advice on board and stared RIGHT into those pupils. Both of them. What do you mean, ask her for a drink?”

Weaving, who is reportedly also autistic, commented: “I doubt she’s interested at all. Emma hardly even looks at me.”
