An autistic man who ages in reverse says he cannot wait to see what health issue he’ll get to cast off next.

Benjamin Button, who was born at 100 and is currently on his way back to a sprightly 45, looks forward to every passing year where one fewer thing will be wrong with him.

Button said: “I was born in agony, not a single organ was functioning and my bones technically didn’t meet the medical definition of bones. But somewhere between 60 and 55, my pelvic floor got its act together, which in turn allowed me to experience my digestive problems with a little more sophistication.”

“Maybe I’ll lose my sleep apnoea next, so when I can’t breathe at night I’ll know for sure that it’s just my acid reflux. Or I’ll stop being allergic to pet dander so I can finally get a medical alert dog for… everything else.”

Button was then informed about childhood illnesses, the stress of which flared up his IBS.
