Websites that translate text from one language to another will enable emails and instant messages from neurotypical people to be converted into a less obscure format, reports have confirmed.
According to linguistics expert Dr. Jay Chester, who helped to create the innovative new tool, site visitors will be able to upload screenshots and press a large button labelled: “Dafuq does that even mean?”
Dr. Chester explained: “Until now, autistics have relied on posting screenshots into a group chat, and since those group chats are inevitably full of other neurodivergent people, it hasn’t gone well.”
“Neurotypical is a complex language, laden with hints, double meanings, and social niceties that are added purely to be discounted. It’s like if Ancient Greek and Mandarin Chinese had a one-night stand and produced a particularly confusing baby.”
“The reason that neurotypical-autistic dictionaries aren’t available to buy in shops is simply that no one can lift them. You’d need to hire industrial machinery just to turn the page.”
Autistic people have welcomed the new website feature, while neurotypical views on the subject remain unclear.
