Allistic society is reportedly surprised by the autism diagnosis of a man who conducted an entire four-hour docuseries from his under his duvet because “I’m a hermit. If I’m not on stage, I’m in bed”.
Robbie Williams, 52, who already has a public ADHD diagnosis and has guilelessly been blurting out his every thought in public since the early 90s, announced this week that he is also autistic, causing shock, for some reason.
Fan Olivia Buckingham, 40, explained: “Robbie always seemed so… normal. Apart from the UFO thing. And the autobiographical movie where he was portrayed as an anthropomorphic chimpanzee. And the fact that he often dresses like Strawberry Shortcake. Other than that, there were no signs.”
Fellow fan, Emma Bernard, 60, agreed. “So you’re saying people with autism can sing and dance and sell out stadium tours? Next they’ll be walking on their hind legs!”
Williams could not be reached for comment as he was in bed, but asked our reporters to come back at 2am when he’ll be wide awake and ready to divulge his every secret.
