A neurotypical woman has announced her pregnancy on Instagram by suggesting an orange spherical gourd gave her its seed, it has been confirmed.
Becky Armitage, 29, from Cheshire – who posted: “I, along with my husband Ryan, am overjoyed to welcome our little pumpkin” – is clearly oblivious to any shame around saddling a winter squash.
The couple shared a photo of themselves standing in a large field of orange spheres cradling the bump – which is rumoured to be in the very spot in which the pumpkin bothering occurred.
Friend @EllieMulliganHairAndNails commented: “Proud of you, bestie. Love is love!”
“He’ll look just like his dad!” User @KarenEHoyland73 replied. “The medium-sized pumpkin, second row back.”
User @LizMcHodgeLovesCorgis said: “They look happy about it now. Five days after it’s born, it’ll be rotting in the front yard.”
