Your mother is determined to make your late autism diagnosis all about herself somehow, it has been announced.

Tricia Squire, 54, has reportedly decided to process your life-changing news by listing everything she remembers eating during her pregnancy 30 years ago and querying if “maybe that’s what did it?”.

Squire commented: “We just thought you were hysterical like your grandmother. If I’d had a better relationship with her, maybe I wouldn’t have been so hard on you. She never thought I was good enough for her precious son, that uppity bitch – God rest her soul.”

“Am I a bad mother?” Squire continued, before bursting into tears until you had to comfort her right there in the clinical psychologist’s appointment.

Squire was reportedly then buoyed by being reminded that she would now be able to identify as an autism mum.

Squire added: “I can’t wait to advocate for you all wrong.”
