An autistic man whose friend disappeared on him has been left wondering if perhaps he failed to sufficiently monologue at them about his current hyperfixation, it has been rumoured.
Dexter Livingstone, 45, only managed to deliver 19 multi-hour voice-note lectures about Star Trek Voyager to new friend Jay Chester, 39, before they mysteriously stopped replying.
“I should have done more,” Livingstone told us. “I knew those voice notes weren’t long enough.”
“Maybe I wasn’t detailed enough,” Livingstone continued. “I thought I explained about the Maquis people being mainly human but living in Cardassian territory, but maybe I wasn’t thorough enough about the difference between a border and a demilitarised zone.”
“Just in case, I’ll leave another voice memo?”
Livingstone could not be reached for further comment as he was doing vocal warmups.
