An autistic person who would usually be the first to debunk conspiracy theories would actually be curious to hear more about Keir Starmer’s plan to dim the sun, sources have claimed.
Neuroscientist Jay Chester, 38, is reportedly quick to point out the logical flaws inherent in disinformation campaigns, from chemtrails to coffee enemas – but, this one time, they wouldn’t mind if Starmer was really planning to block out the horrible sun, like Mr. Burns.
Chester explained: “I know logically that this is a moral panic, whipped up by the right-wing media, to grossly exaggerate the scope of a minuscule study and create a false sense of outrage – but genuinely, if Starmer fancied turning the sun down, like, 10 notches – I’d be down for that.”
“Obviously, I don’t believe Starmer’s actually going to dim the sun,” Chester continued. “But if he COULD look into it, that would literally be the only one of his appalling policies I could get behind.”
Chester could not be reached for further comment, as they had fallen down a Facebook rabbit hole about whether the overhead sun could be replaced with less obtrusive side lights.
