An autistic woman at a baby shower has accidentally suggested a name inspired by a serial killer, it has been rumoured.

Siobhan Moorton, 29, from Flint, claims she was “just trying to think outside the box” for former school friend Becky’s future son – and thought it might be a refreshing change among the Noahs and the Oakleys.

“I was just saying I really liked the name of the main character in something I watched on Netflix – before realising the main character was a homicidal maniac in a true-crime documentary.” Moorton said. “Otherwise, I think Ted’s pretty cute.”

“There’s also Tilikum. You know, after that captive performing whale that caused the deaths of four people,” Moorton continued. “Though I don’t think they’d do a hat with that on.”

“Thanks to Siobhan’s appalling proposition, we’re still undecided on a name,” mother-to-be Becky Yorkshire, 32, commented. “Anyway. Baby Yorkshire-Ripper, due in 2025.”
