A streaming service that silently deleted your favourite autistic comfort series has admitted it was purely with the intention of pissing you off, it has been reported.

The streaming service confessed: “We saw you restarting the same episode over and over every time things were feeling a little bit rough and unpredictable, and thought: ‘let’s have a bit of fun’.”

“We secretly love saying ‘sorry, we couldn’t find anything for Dinnerladies‘, even though you could have sworn it was there on Tuesday, Wednesday and every other day this week. Yet we act like we knew nothing about it, or it never existed at all. Dinnerladies Who??”

“We take a particularly sick joy in then offering up shows in the ballpark of what you’re on about, or maybe starring one of the actors – like a devastating drama series starring Maxine Peake. So we clearly have some idea what you’re looking for. You know it, and we know it.”

“We relish watching you furiously type in various variations of the title, hoping it was just a rogue misspelling on your part. Every time that happens, one of our execs just orgasms on the spot.”

You were last seen staring at the screen, insisting your beloved show might reappear again any moment – like when Buffy desperately tries to revive her mum’s corpse. The streamer added: “Incidentally, we also no longer have Buffy.”
