An autistic woman who has paused all her life activities in order to lie in bed, catatonic, has announced that this is simply a break in production.

Star of The Paige Thomas Show, Paige Thomas, 29, whose series unexpectedly went off-air mid-season, has promised that regular programming will resume at a later date.

Thomas said: “Due to a lack of funding and in protest of their long hours, the writers of The Paige Thomas Show have temporarily gone on strike.”

“I’m aware this may frustrate those of you following the show, particularly as the last episode ended on a cliffhanger,” Thomas continued. “You’ll have to wait until next season to find out if I ever took that shower.”

“A lot of you have been wondering if my co-stars will be reprising their roles when we’re back on air,” Thomas added. “Hopefully they won’t have moved on to other projects… employees… girlfriends…”

Thomas could not be reached for further comment as she was resting the show in a big, comfy bed.
