A man has been hailed as a “hero” after spending 25 straight hours infodumping about his special interest, despite the disadvantage of his neurotypicalism.
Senator Cory Booker, 55, broke the record for the longest senate speech, in a move autistics worldwide are calling “just another Tuesday”.
Autistic man, Dexter Livingstone, 38, commented: “25 hours? Is that it? I did 36 hours on the Battle of Stalingrad last week and no one put me on the news.”
“Granted I wasn’t taking a brave public stand against fascism,” Livingstone continued. “But rattling off lots of dull facts about it? Put me in, coach.”
Booker could not be reached for comment, as 25 hours was quite enough for one lifetime, but Livingstone was happy to fill in for him.
He added: “Did you know that it was the single largest and costliest urban battle in military history?”
