An autistic woman’s funny, funny gags are actually a desperate howl from the depths of her dark soul, her subconscious has confirmed.
Olivia Buckingham, 27, regularly cracks her friends up with her edgy gallows humour – but the one person she reportedly can’t fool is herself.
Buckingham’s subconscious, 27, commented: “You can dress me up in as many colourful wigs and squeaky red noses as you like – but at night, when it’s just you and your horrible little thoughts, that’s me you can hear whispering. Oliiiiiivia… Oliiiiiiiiiiiiiiivia…”
“That’s right. You thought you were disarming me with comedy, but you were actually turning me into Pennywise.”
“Now that I’ve got you for the night, let’s think about some TRAUMA!”
Friend Emma Bernard, 30, said: “Oh my God, Olivia is SO funny! Have you heard her bit about how her jokes are actually a cry for help??”
