An autistic woman has finally left her therapist speechless with a trauma dump that even he is powerless to respond to, it has been reported.

Navya Randhawa, 29, has been seeing therapist Ben Espenson, 55, for three years, in which time he has helped her to process many troubling aspects of her past. Yesterday, however, she gave an account of her school years that caused him to take his glasses off and stare out of the window in silence for a full minute.

Randhawa said: “I was telling him about the girls who used to call me ‘rat’ because of this one time I said rats were cute. They used to bring blocks of cheese to school and leave little pieces of it in my gym bag, and this one time one of them got their big cousin to call pest control to the school ‘because there’s a big rat with plague chewing up all the computer cables’.”

“I got to the bit where I was doing the school play and the parents would boo whenever I came on for some reason, even though I wasn’t the villain, and I think I saw a tear in his eye. He just whispered, ‘I can’t do this’.”

“And then he waived my session fee and gave me the number for a hitman.”
