Autistics have been staring at Highly Sensitive People like the bloodthirsty kids in Children of the Corn, sources have claimed.
The phenomenon has grown as self-described HSPS have listed every autistic trait in the DSM-5 – but have insisted they’re just empaths who absorb the spirtual energy of everyone around them.
Self-identified HSP, Karen Hoyland, 44, said: “Ever since I came out as an HSP, I’ve felt the energies of people with autism grow more intense around me. Like they’re trying to suck out my very soul.”
“They keeping staring at me with a strange mixture of hunger and knowing,” Hoyland continued. “As if to say ‘we can be patient, her time will come’.”
Autistic people commented: “One of us! One of us!”
