An auDHD man who watched a creepy videotape and then received a voicemail informing him that he would die in seven days unless he made a copy has reportedly resigned himself to the inevitable.
Yuichi Suzuki, 48, has added “make copy of haunted video” to his to-do list, but has conceded it’s unlikely he’ll remember he made a list at all.
Suzuki explained: “To be honest, it’s incredible that I even listened to the voicemail. It’s usually something REALLY stressful, like a casual friend wanting to make firm dinner plans.”
“I realise my life depends on making a copy of this tape,” Suzuki continued. “But given that VHS is now an obsolete format, there are too many steps involved in doing that. I got as far as Googling it, but then I fell down a Wikipedia rabbit hole about Betamax. Whatever happened to that?”
“I should probably get my affairs in order,” Suzuki added. “But I won’t.”
“Will I spend my whole week worrying about a bedraggled ghost girl crawling out of my TV and scaring me to death? If I remember it’s happening. I’ve got a lot on. Ah fuck, has it been a week already? Annnnnd now I’m dead. Rats.”

AuDHD man who will die in seven days unless he makes copy of tape had a pretty good run, to be fair
