An autistic woman has managed to screw up sitting still while someone else does her nails, eyewitnesses have claimed.
Simran Khalsa, 32, decided she was worth more than the DIY hack-job she does on her nails and booked into a nail salon for a manicure. However, nail technician Luca Mignon, 27, was forced to pass judgement after Khalsa demonstrated that you can, in fact, be bad at getting your nails done.
Mignon said: “First of all, Simran freaked out when asked to decide between a regular and gel manicure. She asked, ‘Isn’t it all gel?’ before beginning to hyperventilate about not having studied sufficiently for the appointment.”
“When we got over that hurdle, she couldn’t pick a colour without worrying aloud as to whether I would like it. I gently explained that it was all about what she wanted, which made her break out in a cold sweat.”
Mignon was eventually able to complete the service, after which Khalsa reached into her bag for her purse and smudged the entire manicure.
