An autistic woman who dressed up for a glamorous work event is ready to revert to her usual unkempt appearance any minute now, it has been revealed.

PR manager Chi-Young Lee, 34, has had her hair and makeup done professionally to attend an industry awards ceremony, but she is reportedly beginning to feel the transformation back into her true self begin to take hold.

Lee said: “All of this glam is wasted on me. My hair will not hold a style for more than 30 minutes before my weird hair whorls and frizz return with a vengeance. I am sweating through a layer of medical-grade antiperspirant, and I am almost certainly going to snag my tights on this nail I’ve just chipped.”

33-year-old Sarah Harrow, Lee’s date to the event, said: “The host had barely gotten through their opening speech before Chi-Young leaned over and hissed into my ear that ‘it’ had begun. I thought she meant her period, but I looked over at her and saw her disintegrating before my eyes.”

A photographer at the event later commented: “I think this place is haunted. There’s a vengeful-looking demon-woman who keeps showing up in the background of all the photos.”
