An auDHD person has reportedly been well and truly outnerded just because their fellow nerds can actually retain tiny details like plot and character.

Kit McGodden, 34, loves all things fantasy, but their autistic desire to know everything about their favourite books, films and games repeatedly conflicts with their ADHD tendency to forget things as soon as they experience them – making them look like a casual fan at best.

McGodden said: “I love Lord of the Rings. I like that elf, er… y’know, the dad elf. Papa Elf. He’s got long hair – no, not that one! The sexy one who possibly rode a horse at one point! With the daughter. Or son. He’s someone’s dad. I liked it when he… did he take part in a fight? He must have done, surely.”

“I’m a huge fan of TTRPGs as well. There’s the one that’s based on the work of that racist guy who wrote loads of stories full of barely-concealed racism – wait, this is the fantasy genre, that doesn’t narrow it down at all…”

McGodden was last seen searching “elf dad man maybe on horse”.
