The actor Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly had the ever-living shite scared out of him by a mysterious woman in black who turned out to be an autistic goth minding her own business.
Paige Thomas, 28, who was waiting for the 11.15 train to Riddlesdown when she encountered the A-list actor, had no intention of startling Radcliffe, 36, and certainly didn’t mean to foreshadow his imminent death – but try telling that to the jumpy little fella.
Thomas commented: “I was wearing my favourite Victorian high-necked black lace blouse and long skirt. Honestly, I was feeling myself until Radcliffe showed up and went sheet white. I’m not a ghost, I just don’t get out much and all my clothes are from Disturbia.”
“It probably didn’t help that the train station was opposite a playground full of screaming kids,” Thomas continued. “And what were the odds of a horse trotting by at exactly that moment?”
“I tried to smile at him to reassure him, and that’s when he started shrieking like he was being murdered. I mean, it’s not like I’m the scariest thing he’s ever seen. He’s worked with J.K. Rowling.”
At the time of publication, Radcliffe had not yet succumbed to the curse of The Woman in Black – but he had written an angry letter to Disturbia’s customer service team.
