An autistic woman evaluates potential partners by making sure they are pleasant enough to chew on, it has been reported.
Mary Walker, 34, has been on several dates, but has yet to find someone with the right sort of body composition to be a living, breathing stim toy. Most have allowed Walker to take an experimental nibble, but she has not yet found anyone she’d want to gnaw on in the long term.
Walker said: “Sometimes I just get the urge to gently bite someone I love, as a cat would, and I don’t want to commit to a lifetime of faking it with the wrong person.”
“There’s no shortage of people who’d like to be bitten, but I need them to understand how non-sexual this is. I’m looking for a life partner slash chew toy to stop my nervous system telling me I’m in mortal peril. They don’t have a tick-box option for that on Bumble though.”
Walker’s recent Instagram posts suggest she has finally found a suitable match in 31-year-old Luca Mignon, who is reportedly willing to stick bits of dried banana to themselves in the name of love.
