A woman who describes her autistic nephew as “severely autistic” is yet to recognise the true tragedy of her neurotypical brain, it has been reported.

Deborah Whitehead, 58, from Alvanley, laments the imagined tragedy of an autistic man’s life – despite hers being blighted by despising Meghan Markle and frequent rewatchings of Mamma Mia.

“Our Ryan. He’s not like you – he’s SEVERELY autistic,” Whitehead clarified, struggling to grasp she was lacking in critical thinking and insight to the point of despair.

Whitehead continued: “He has bizarre hobbies – by bizarre, I mean, of zero interest to me. And he really struggles with social skills. By the way, you’re looking a little plump these days.”

“Horribly, horribly sad,” Whitehead repeated, tuning into yet another episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
