An autistic woman has reportedly been left devastated upon discovering that her autism assessment was simply pass or fail.

Despite Paige Thomas, 27, diligently preparing for her appointment by revising every detail of her life to date, providing copious written course work and extra assignments and showing up in a pair of rainbow dungarees, she was not awarded the top grade she felt she deserved.

Thomas said: “I spent 30 minutes of my session info-dumping about fruit flies. What more could I have done?”

“I’m gutted,” she continued. “I automatically got the same grade as the guy I saw coming out of the appointment before me. And he wasn’t even carrying a folder containing his detailed personal history.”

“Not even a certificate to hang on my wall,” Thomas added. “Maybe they’ll grade my OCD?”
