An undiagnosed autistic woman has discovered she’s absolutely amazing at having an eating disorder.

Paige Thomas, 19, from Elton, has an innate talent for using food to regulate uncomfortable emotions – as opposed to actually feeling them.

“It’s absolutely foolproof,” Thomas told us proudly. “To be honest, I don’t see what could go wrong.”

“I think I’ve finally found my thing,” Thomas continued. “I mean, it’s an illness. But…a hobby is a hobby, you know?”

“I’m getting concerned comments from relatives that I don’t look well,” she added. “So I guess that means I’m doing great?”

“The discipline she’s shown is really quite remarkable,” Her mother Liz Thomas, 45, said. “I said she looked a little plump in her gym shorts on her sports day at primary school, but I don’t want to take all the credit for Paige’s hard work.”

Paige could not be reached for further comment, as she was already running her fifth lap round the block.
