An autistic woman has insisted she has “absolutely fucked it” after making a slight spelling mistake on the first page of her 2025 diary, sources have confirmed.
Natasha Weaving, 34, from Rhyl, had just written down a resolution to be more “environmentally friendly” in the coming year, before immediately realising she had missed the “n” out of “environment” – prompting her to throw the £20.99 book into a scorching pool of magma.
“After that, all 240 pages were useless,” Weaving said. “I mean, what if somebody stumbles across my entries one day – then realises I couldn’t spell? Mortifying.”
“I’m hoping to be known as the contemporary Sylvia Plath,” Weaving explained. “I’m already contemplating sticking my head in an air fryer. ”
Weaving’s partner Fiona Maw, 38, commented: “Thank God Renée Zellweger didn’t do the same. Otherwise, Bridget Jones’s Diary would have made for a rather brief and disappointing film.”
Weaving’s therapist Tricia Squire, 53, said: “In our last session, Natasha and I set a New Year’s goal about letting ourselves make mistakes. I’m really excited to catch up and see where she’s up to.”
