An autistic child forced to take part in a savage and ruthless battle called “sports” has zero idea that this may cost him his future, according to reports.
Eight-year-old Robert Noot, has been put forward for a series of barbarous duties against his will, armed with a foul-smelling relay baton that lives in a PE cupboard.
Sources have said that Noot is required make it to the other side of a large field while balancing an egg on a spoon in front of a sea of noisy observers, despite struggling to get his breakfast Cheerios to his mouth.
Class teacher Krista Shure, 29, commented: “It does feel like a rather specific act of cruelty to make Robert to take part in a three-legged race, when he’d come trailing behind all by himself.”
Noot’s mother, Mary, 32, said: “I was just so proud to see him in the uniform. Which was a crew neck shirt with bolognese sauce spilled down it, and a pair of Velcro PE pumps.”
“However, I’m aware that taking part may cost him his life. Or, at the very least, three unflattering nicknames to last him his childhood and sitting alone on coach trips for the years to come.”
Noot commented: “I’m still trying to get out of this afternoon. I might just apply for the marines.”
