An autistic man in his 60s who recently began communicating a well-known woman in her early 20s online is reportedly referring to her as his “good friend, Paige.”

Robert Noot, 63, who followed 23-year-old influencer Paige Thomas on Bluesky one month ago, now thinks of her as part of his inner circle, as he speaks to her every single day.

Noot explained: “I’m a great friend to Paige. I’m very supportive of her work. I repost and reply to everything she says – much more than her supposed friends in real life.”

“Paige and I developed an instant connection the first time I replied to her to let her know her post about disability benefits was ‘well said’,” Noot continued. “She liked that post, which, if I understand correctly, is a lifelong commitment to me.”

“She hasn’t liked much since – which I can only assume is down to her low self-esteem. So I’ve upped the compliments to make sure she knows how attractive she is.”

Thomas commented: “Who’s Robert Noot? Oh that guy? I muted him weeks ago.”
