An AuDHD woman is having a much better time looking up facts about the show she’s watching than she would if she was actually watching it, it has been rumoured.
Kelsey Dacey, 28, reportedly watched the first five minutes of Severance, but immediately got distracted wondering how old Adam Scott is now, and had to immediately find out.
Dacey said: “I loved Adam Scott in Parks and Rec and I just wanted to know what he’s up to these days. I didn’t know he’d been with his wife that long! That’s cute. I wonder what she’s like.”
“Wait, why’s he crying in his car?” Dacey continued. “Did I miss something? I’d better look it up.”
Dacey then went on to read the entire synopsis for the first episode, adding: “This is so weird, I don’t remember any of this stuff happening.”
Dacey’s housemate, Miya Wilkes, 26, commented: “At the end of the episode, Kelsey declared that the show was ‘boring’. I can’t help but wonder if she’d have enjoyed it more had she not spent the entire episode on her phone.”
