An autistic woman has ruined every frame of a couple’s wedding video by looking utterly despondent, it has been revealed.
Paige Thomas, 29, from Barnsley, was invited to attend the ceremony of an old schoolfriend in her hometown last Saturday – which turned out to be a grave mistake.
“We just wanted to get a candid, relaxed sense of the day,” bride Sarah Harrow, 33, said. “Except we got the footage back and there was this horrified, looming figure haunting the background. I thought there was a ghost in the church. But it was just Paige.”
Videographer Ben Espenson, 42, observed: “She seemed horrified to be perceived.”
Thomas was asked for comment, but stared at reporters until they backed away.
