An autistic woman has lamented the dearth of dating opportunities in her own living room, sources have revealed.

Paige Thomas, 32, who exclusively leaves her house for unavoidable medical appointments, is said to be “demoralised” by the lack of romantic interest she is receiving. Thomas said: “Since I hit my thirties, people have stopped paying me that kind of attention. The other day, the postman delivered a parcel and didn’t ask for my number or anything. I must be hideous.”

“When I went for my smear test, the doctor didn’t so much as wink at me,” she continued. “How much more available do I need to be?”

“I guess I could try the apps,” Thomas conceded reluctantly. “Think I’ll start with Candy Crush? Let’s see if I get any bites.”
