An autistic woman has been left “inconsolable” after sending a text with two kisses on the end when the acquaintance she had been texting had sent three, it has been rumoured.

Navya Randhawa, 30, made the unforgivable error when attempting to book a hair appointment with local stylist Natasha Weaving, 35 – an appointment she will now be unable to attend due to leaving the country.

Randhawa said: “I just wanted to get my roots done but found myself in the nightmarish situation of having to mirror text-based kissing etiquette.”

“Having now broken the precedent set by Natasha, all bets are off,” Randhawa continued, while frantically packing a suitcase. “I might as well respond to the next one with a massive snog.”

The situation was further exacerbated when Weaving texted “u ok hon? Xxx”

“In my eagerness to redeem myself by responding with the correct amount of kisses, I accidentally called her ‘babe’,” Randhawa added. “If anyone needs me, I’ll be starting a new life in Mexico.”
